Ingredients

– 1 loaf of French bread, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds

– 8 oz cream cheese, softened

– 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley

– 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

– 1/4 tsp garlic powder

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. – In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder until well combined.

3. – Spread the cheese mixture evenly on top of the bread slices, making sure to cover the entire surface.

4. – Arrange the topped bread slices on a baking sheet.

5. – Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

6. – Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes.

7. – Serve the Hanky Panky Appetizers warm, garnished with additional parsley if desired.

Notes

For a spicier version, try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce to the cheese mixture. These appetizers can also be made ahead of time and reheated in the oven before serving.
