Description

This homemade Gluten Free Green Bean Casserole is a comforting and delicious side dish that’s perfect for any occasion. Made with fresh green beans, a creamy sauce, and a crispy fried onion topping, it’s a classic dish that’s sure to be a hit.


Ingredients

– 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces

– 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (gluten-free)

– 1/2 cup milk

– 1 tbsp soy sauce (gluten-free)

– 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

– 1 1/2 cups crispy fried onions (gluten-free)


Instructions

1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2. 2. In a large pot, bring a few inches of water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 3-5 minutes, until tender-crisp. Drain and set aside.

3. 3. In a large bowl, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and black pepper until well combined.

4. 4. Add the cooked green beans to the soup mixture and stir to coat.

5. 5. Transfer the green bean mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish. Top with the crispy fried onions.

6. 6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and the topping is golden brown.

Notes

– For a heartier casserole, you can add cooked, crumbled bacon or diced ham.
