Description

Indulge in the irresistible flavors of this Goat Cheese & Roasted Apple Flatbread with Sweet Cinnamon Drizzle. The creamy goat cheese, caramelized roasted apples, and decadent cinnamon glaze come together to create a restaurant-worthy treat that’s surprisingly easy to make at home.

Ingredients

– 1 flatbread or naan

– 4 oz goat cheese, softened

– 2 apples, cored and thinly sliced

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 1 tsp ground cinnamon

– 2 tbsp honey

– Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. – Toss the apple slices with 1 tbsp olive oil, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

3. – Arrange the apple slices in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast for 15-20 minutes, until softened and lightly caramelized.

4. – Spread the softened goat cheese evenly over the flatbread.

5. – Top with the roasted apple slices.

6. – In a small bowl, mix together the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, and honey. Drizzle this cinnamon-honey mixture over the flatbread.

7. – Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

For a crispy flatbread, you can bake the naked flatbread for 5-7 minutes before adding the toppings. Experiment with different types of apples or pears to find your favorite combination. The cinnamon-honey drizzle can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator until ready to use.
