Description

These Goat Cheese and Honey Bites are a quick and easy appetizer that are perfect for parties or snacking. The rich, creamy goat cheese is perfectly complemented by the sweet, floral honey and fresh thyme.


Ingredients

– 8 oz soft goat cheese, at room temperature

– 2 tbsp honey, plus more for drizzling

– 1 tbsp fresh thyme, plus more for garnish


Instructions

1. – In a medium bowl, use a fork to mash the goat cheese until smooth and creamy.

2. – Stir in 2 tbsp of honey until well combined.

3. – Using a small cookie scoop or spoon, scoop the goat cheese mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

4. – Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

5. – Drizzle the chilled goat cheese bites with additional honey and sprinkle with fresh thyme.

6. – Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a variation, try rolling the goat cheese bites in toasted nuts, seeds, or chopped herbs before chilling. You can also make these bites ahead of time and refrigerate for up to 3 days before serving.
