Ingredients
– 1 lb pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
– 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
– 1/4 cup honey
– 1 tsp red pepper flakes
– 2 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
Instructions
1. – Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. – On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle.
3. – Transfer the dough to the prepared baking sheet.
4. – Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
5. – Arrange the sliced pear on top of the cheese.
6. – Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
7. – In a small bowl, mix together the honey and red pepper flakes.
8. – Remove the pizza from the oven and drizzle the hot honey mixture over the top.
