Description

Tender steak bites smothered in a rich, creamy blue cheese sauce make for an irresistible and easy-to-prepare appetizer. Serve these Glacier Blue Cheese Steak Bites at your next party or game day gathering for a guaranteed crowd-pleasing treat.

Ingredients

– 1 lb steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 1 tsp garlic powder

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 1/4 tsp black pepper

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1 cup crumbled blue cheese

– 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. – In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

2. – Season the steak cubes with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add to the hot skillet and sear on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.

3. – Reduce heat to medium and add the heavy cream to the skillet. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened, about 3-5 minutes.

4. – Stir in the crumbled blue cheese and continue cooking until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth, about 2 minutes more.

5. – Return the seared steak cubes to the skillet and toss to coat evenly in the blue cheese sauce.

6. – Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, use a high-quality blue cheese. You can adjust the amount of blue cheese to suit your taste preferences. The steak can be substituted with cubed chicken or pork if desired.
