Description

Garlic Steak Pasta is a quick and flavorful weeknight dinner that’s ready in just 20 minutes. Tender slices of steak are sautéed with garlic and combined with al dente pasta in a creamy, delicious sauce.

Ingredients

– 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced

– 8 oz pasta (such as penne or fettuccine)

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 1 tsp dried oregano

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. – Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. – In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak slices and sauté for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned on the outside but still pink in the center. Transfer the steak to a plate.

3. – In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

4. – Pour in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Whisk until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.

5. – Add the cooked pasta and steak back to the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated in the sauce.

6. – Season with oregano, salt, and pepper to taste.

7. – Serve immediately, garnished with fresh chopped parsley.

Notes

For added flavor, you can substitute beef broth for up to half of the heavy cream. You can also add sautéed mushrooms or spinach to the dish.
