Description

Indulge in the irresistible flavors of this Garlic Herb Sourdough Bread Stuffed With Brie & Cranberry. Freshly baked sourdough is infused with aromatic garlic and herbs, then generously filled with melty brie and tart cranberries for a mouthwatering combination of savory and sweet.

Ingredients

– 1 loaf sourdough bread

– 4 cloves garlic, minced

– 2 tbsp fresh herbs (such as thyme, rosemary, parsley), chopped

– 8 oz brie cheese, cut into slices

– 1 cup fresh or dried cranberries

Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. – Slice the sourdough bread horizontally to create a top and bottom piece.

3. – In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic and chopped herbs.

4. – Spread the garlic-herb mixture evenly over the bottom piece of bread.

5. – Layer the brie slices and cranberries on top of the garlic-herb mixture.

6. – Place the top piece of bread back on the filling.

7. – Wrap the stuffed bread in foil and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the bread is warm throughout.

8. – Unwrap the bread, slice and serve warm.

Notes

– For a more indulgent version, brush the top of the bread with melted butter or olive oil before baking.

– Dried cranberries can be used instead of fresh, if desired.

– Experiment with different cheese varieties, such as goat cheese or Gorgonzola, for a unique twist.
