Description

These Frozen Blue Margarita Jello Shots are a delightfully boozy and refreshing cocktail treat perfect for parties, pool days, or anytime you crave a tasty frozen concoction. Made with tequila, blue curacao, and lime, they’re easy to whip up in just 10 minutes.

Ingredients

– 1 cup tequila

– 1 cup blue curacao

– 1/2 cup fresh lime juice

– 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin

– Lime wedges for garnish

Instructions

1. – In a medium saucepan, sprinkle the gelatin over 1/4 cup of the tequila and let sit for 5 minutes to bloom.

2. – Heat the saucepan over medium, whisking constantly, until the gelatin has dissolved, about 2-3 minutes.

3. – Remove from heat and stir in the remaining tequila, blue curacao, and lime juice until well combined.

4. – Pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish or silicone mold and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm.

5. – Cut into squares or pop out of molds and serve chilled, garnished with lime wedges.

Notes

For a fun presentation, you can use shot glass molds or small silicone molds to make individual jello shots. Feel free to adjust the ratios of tequila, blue curacao, and lime to suit your taste preferences.
