Ingredients
– 1 lb pork, cut into 1-inch cubes
– 1/2 cup soy sauce
– 1/4 cup brown sugar
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tbsp grated ginger
– 1 tsp ground black pepper
– 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
1. – In a large bowl, combine the pork, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and black pepper. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.
2. – Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
3. – Thread the marinated pork onto metal or wooden skewers.
4. – Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the pork is cooked through and slightly charred.
5. – Remove from grill and garnish with sliced green onions.
6. – Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
These Filipino Pork BBQ Skewers can also be broiled in the oven for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through. For extra flavor, baste the skewers with the remaining marinade during the last few minutes of cooking.
