Description

This Authentic Easy Tzatziki Sauce is a creamy, tangy, and utterly delicious Greek yogurt-based dip that’s perfect for serving with fresh veggies, pita bread, and more. Made with just a few simple ingredients, it’s easy to whip up in just 5 minutes.

Ingredients

– 1 cup plain Greek yogurt

– 1 medium cucumber, peeled, seeded, and grated

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

– 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. 1. In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped dill, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

2. 2. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed, adding more lemon juice for tanginess or salt and pepper to taste.

3. 3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

4. 4. Serve chilled with fresh vegetable sticks, pita bread, or as a condiment for grilled meats or falafel.

Notes

– For a thicker consistency, you can strain the grated cucumber through a cheesecloth or fine-mesh sieve to remove excess moisture.

– Try adding a tablespoon of olive oil for an extra creamy texture.

– Experiment with different herbs like mint, parsley, or chives.
