Ingredients
– 2 cups crushed pretzels
– 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
– 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
– 1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– Whipped cream, for topping (optional)
Instructions
1. 1. In a medium bowl, mix together the crushed pretzels and 2 tablespoons of the sweetened condensed milk until well combined.
2. 2. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth and creamy. Gradually add the remaining sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, beating until fully incorporated.
3. 3. Fold in the chopped strawberries.
4. 4. Layer the pretzel mixture evenly into the bottom of 6-8 small jars or glasses.
5. 5. Top the pretzel layer with the strawberry cream cheese mixture, spreading it evenly.
6. 6. Refrigerate the assembled jars for at least 2 hours, or up to 3 days.
7. 7. Just before serving, top each jar with a dollop of whipped cream, if desired.
Notes
– For a firmer texture, refrigerate the jars for at least 4 hours or overnight.
– Substitute other berries like blueberries or raspberries for the strawberries.
