Description

Enjoy the warm, fragrant flavors of fall in this easy-to-make pumpkin bread recipe. Perfectly moist and packed with cozy spices, it’s the ultimate comfort food for chilly days.

Ingredients

– 1 15oz can pumpkin puree

– 3 large eggs

– 1 cup vegetable oil

– 2 cups granulated sugar

– 3 cups all-purpose flour

– 2 teaspoons baking powder

– 1 teaspoon baking soda

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

2. – In a large bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, and sugar until well combined.

3. – In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

4. – Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

5. – Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.

6. – Bake for 60-70 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

7. – Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

For an extra special touch, top the baked pumpkin bread with a simple glaze or chopped nuts. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
