Ingredients
– 1 lb ground beef
– 1 onion, diced
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
– 2 cups beef broth
– 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
– 8 oz lasagna noodles, broken into 1-inch pieces
– 1 cup ricotta cheese
– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. 1. In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and crumbled, 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
2. 2. Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
3. 3. Pour in the crushed tomatoes, beef broth, and tomato paste. Stir to combine.
4. 4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
5. 5. Add the broken lasagna noodles and cook for an additional 10-12 minutes, until the noodles are tender.
6. 6. Remove from heat and stir in the ricotta, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses.

Notes
