Description

Deviled Potatoes are a quick and easy appetizer that is sure to impress your guests. These creamy, savory bites are made by stuffing boiled potatoes with a flavorful mixture of mayonnaise, mustard, and seasonings, then topping them with a sprinkle of paprika for an eye-catching finish.


Ingredients

– 6 medium-sized potatoes, boiled and halved

– 1/2 cup mayonnaise

– 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

– 1 teaspoon paprika, plus more for garnish

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

– 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives, for garnish


Instructions

1. – Boil the potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Allow to cool slightly, then cut in half lengthwise.

2. – In a medium bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

3. – Scoop the mayonnaise mixture into the potato halves, dividing it evenly.

4. – Sprinkle the top of each deviled potato with a light dusting of paprika.

5. – Garnish with chopped fresh chives.

6. – Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

For a variation, try adding a sprinkle of shredded cheese or crumbled bacon on top of the deviled potatoes. You can also adjust the seasoning to your taste, adding more or less mustard, salt, and pepper.
