Description

These Deviled Eggs With Relish are a classic appetizer made with hard-boiled eggs, a creamy filling, and a zesty relish topping. They’re easy to prepare and always a hit at gatherings.

Ingredients

– 12 large eggs

– 1/2 cup mayonnaise

– 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

– 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish

– 1 teaspoon white vinegar

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

– Paprika, for garnish

Instructions

1. – Place the eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover with water by 1 inch. Bring to a boil over high heat.

2. – Remove from heat, cover, and let stand for 12 minutes.

3. – Drain the eggs and cover with cold water. Let stand until cool enough to handle.

4. – Peel the eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.

5. – Carefully remove the yolks and place them in a medium bowl.

6. – Add the mayonnaise, mustard, relish, vinegar, salt, and pepper to the yolks. Mash and mix until smooth and creamy.

7. – Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.

8. – Sprinkle with paprika for garnish.

9. – Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

For best results, use fresh, high-quality eggs. You can also customize the filling by adding a touch of horseradish or a sprinkle of cayenne pepper. Store leftover deviled eggs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
