Description

Ingredients

– 10 oz fresh spinach, chopped

– 8 oz cream cheese, softened

– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 2 eggs, lightly beaten

– 1/4 cup heavy cream

– 1 tsp garlic powder

– 1/2 tsp nutmeg

– 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

– 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed


Instructions

1. 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. 2. In a large bowl, combine the chopped spinach, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, eggs, heavy cream, garlic powder, nutmeg, and cayenne pepper. Mix until well combined.

3. 3. Unfold the puff pastry sheet and roll it out on a lightly floured surface to a 12-inch square.

4. 4. Transfer the puff pastry to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

5. 5. Spread the spinach mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.

6. 6. Fold the edges of the puff pastry over the filling, creating a rectangular or square shape.

7. 7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

8. 8. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a crispier crust, brush the puff pastry with egg wash before baking. Serve with a fresh salad or as a stand-alone appetizer.
