Ingredients
– 2 (15 oz) cans corn, drained
– 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
– 1 cup sour cream
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1/4 cup butter, melted
– 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
2. 2. In a large bowl, mix together the drained corn, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, 1/2 cup of the cheddar cheese, melted butter, flour, salt, and pepper until well combined.
3. 3. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
4. 4. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese over the top.
5. 5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly, and the cheese is melted and lightly browned.
6. 6. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a heartier dish, you can add cooked ground beef or chopped ham. You can also customize the cheese to your liking, using a blend of cheddar, Parmesan, or monterey jack. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
