Description

Homemade Cranberry Butter is a quick and easy spread that adds a burst of festive flavor to your favorite foods. Enjoy it on toast, waffles, scones, or use it as a dip for fresh fruit and crackers.

Ingredients

– 12 oz fresh cranberries

– 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

– 1/2 cup granulated sugar

– 1 tsp orange zest

– 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

1. – In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, and 2 tablespoons of water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries have burst and the mixture has thickened.

2. – Remove the cranberry mixture from heat and let cool completely.

3. – In a food processor, combine the cooled cranberry mixture, softened butter, orange zest, and cinnamon. Pulse until well blended and smooth.

4. – Transfer the Cranberry Butter to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
