Ingredients

– 8 cups cubed bread (preferably day-old or stale)

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter

– 1 large onion, diced

– 3 celery stalks, diced

– 3 cloves garlic, minced

– 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage

– 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme

– 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

– 1 1/2 cups low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth


Instructions

1. 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. 2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and celery, and sauté for 5-7 minutes, until softened.

3. 3. Stir in the garlic, sage, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2 more minutes, until fragrant.
