Description

Indulge in the irresistible flavors of Disneyland’s iconic churro toffee with this easy-to-make copycat recipe. Packed with rich caramel and a delightful cinnamon-sugar coating, this sweet treat will transport you straight to the Happiest Place on Earth.

Ingredients

– 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter

– 1 cup light brown sugar

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. 2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

3. 3. Add the brown sugar and stir until the mixture is smooth and bubbling, about 5 minutes.

4. 4. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the cinnamon and salt until well combined.

5. 5. Pour the toffee mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

6. 6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the toffee is a deep golden-brown color.

7. 7. Remove the toffee from the oven and let it cool completely, then break it into bite-sized pieces.

Notes

For a more pronounced churro flavor, add 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon to the toffee mixture before baking. Store the toffee in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
