Ingredients
– 1 cup heavy cream
– 1/2 cup powdered sugar
– 1 teaspoon peppermint extract

Instructions
1. – In a large bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
2. – Add the powdered sugar and peppermint extract, and continue beating until well combined.
3. – Divide the mixture in half and stir in the red food coloring to one half.
4. – Using a spoon or small cookie scoop, form the peppermint-colored and plain cream mixtures into small balls or patties.
5. – Refrigerate the peppermint creams for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Store the peppermint creams in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. For a festive presentation, roll the creams in additional powdered sugar or crushed candy canes.
