Ingredients
– 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients to prepare)
– 3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 3 eggs
– 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
– 1/4 cup cocoa powder
– 1 cup prepared caramel sauce
Instructions
1. – Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
2. – Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions. Spread the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
3. – In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese with a hand mixer until smooth. Gradually add the sugar and beat until well combined.
4. – Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the flour and cocoa powder until just combined.
5. – Pour the cheesecake batter over the brownie layer in the pan.
6. – Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until the center is almost set. Allow to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
7. – When ready to serve, remove the cheesecake from the pan and drizzle the top with the caramel sauce.
Notes
For a firmer cheesecake, bake for the longer end of the time range. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
