Description

Savor the bold flavors of Cajun-seasoned chicken paired with sweet, crisp bell peppers in this easy-to-prepare and delicious dinner recipe.

Ingredients

– 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

– 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 3 bell peppers (red, yellow, and orange), sliced

– 1 onion, sliced

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– Salt and black pepper to taste

– Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. 1. Season the chicken breasts evenly with the Cajun seasoning.

2. 2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

3. 3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

4. 4. In the same skillet, sauté the bell pepper slices and onion for 5-7 minutes, until tender and lightly charred.

5. 5. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, until fragrant.

6. 6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and heat through.

7. 7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

8. 8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can marinate the chicken in the Cajun seasoning for 30 minutes before cooking. Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to your desired level of spiciness.
