Description

Indulge in the bold flavors of Buffalo chicken in these easy-to-make, crispy wonton cups – a quick and crowd-pleasing appetizer!

Ingredients

– 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded

– 1/2 cup Buffalo-style hot sauce

– 4 oz cream cheese, softened

– 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)

– 1 package (14 oz) wonton wrappers

– 2 tbsp melted butter or olive oil

– 1/4 cup chopped green onions or chives (for garnish)

Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 24-cup mini muffin tin.

2. – In a medium bowl, mix the shredded chicken, hot sauce, and cream cheese until well combined.

3. – Press the wonton wrappers into the prepared muffin tin, pressing them into the sides to form cups.

4. – Brush the wonton cups lightly with the melted butter or oil.

5. – Spoon the Buffalo chicken mixture into the wonton cups, filling them about 3/4 full.

6. – Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the wonton cups are golden brown and crispy.

7. – Remove from the oven and top with the crumbled blue cheese and chopped green onions or chives, if desired.

8. – Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

– For a milder flavor, use less hot sauce.

– Swap the blue cheese for shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese.

– Garnish with celery sticks or carrot sticks for a veggie twist.
