Description

Elevate your baked beans with a rich, bourbon-infused twist! These Bourbon Baked Beans are a family-favorite dish that’s bursting with flavor and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

– 4 (15 oz) cans of navy or pinto beans, drained and rinsed

– 1/2 cup bourbon

– 1/2 cup brown sugar

– 1/4 cup ketchup

– 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

– 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

– 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

– Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. 2. In a large bowl, combine the drained and rinsed beans, bourbon, brown sugar, ketchup, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until the ingredients are well incorporated.

3. 3. Transfer the bean mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.

4. 4. Bake for 30-35 minutes, stirring halfway, until the beans are heated through and the sauce has thickened.

5. 5. Remove the Bourbon Baked Beans from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add crumbled bacon or sautéed onions to the bean mixture. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
