Ingredients

– 1 large onion, sliced into 1/2-inch rings

– 1 batch of your favorite pizza dough

– 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

– 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

– 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

1. – Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. – Separate the onion slices into individual rings.

3. – On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle.

4. – Carefully transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

5. – Arrange the onion rings in a spiral pattern on top of the dough, starting from the outside and working your way in.

6. – Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses over the onion rings.

7. – Sprinkle the garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper over the top.

8. – Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

9. – Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the seasoning mix. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces, such as marinara or ranch.
