Ingredients

– 2 oz white rum

– 1 oz fresh lime juice

– 1 oz blood orange juice

– 1 oz cranberry juice

– 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and grated

– 8-10 fresh mint leaves, plus more for garnish

– 2 tsp granulated sugar

– Club soda, to top

– Ice


Instructions

1. 1. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the mint leaves and grated ginger with the lime juice and sugar until well combined.

2. 2. Add the blood orange juice, cranberry juice, and rum. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.

3. 3. Double strain the mixture into a copper mug or glass filled with fresh ice.

4. 4. Top with club soda and stir gently to combine.

5. 5. Garnish with a slice of blood orange and a sprig of fresh mint.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, substitute the rum with an equal amount of club soda. Adjust the sugar to taste if desired.
