Description

Grandma’s traditional Fall Coleslaw Recipe is a quick and easy side dish that’s perfect for your autumn gatherings. Made with crisp cabbage, carrots, and a creamy, tangy dressing, this foolproof coleslaw is ready in just 5 minutes and will delight your taste buds.

Ingredients

– 1 head green cabbage, shredded

– 2 carrots, shredded

– 1/2 cup mayonnaise

– 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

– 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. – In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrots.

2. – In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.

3. – Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots and toss to coat evenly.

4. – Chill the coleslaw for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to blend.

Notes

For a creamier coleslaw, add an extra 1-2 tablespoons of mayonnaise. You can also customize the flavors by adding finely chopped onions, a pinch of celery seed, or a splash of lemon juice.
