Ingredients
– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 2 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2 medium bananas)
– 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. – Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan and set it aside.
2. – In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
3. – In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until well combined. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and mashed bananas.
4. – Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
5. – Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly.
