Description

Indulge in the rich, buttery flavors of baklava with this easy overnight oats recipe. Layers of creamy oats, honey, and chopped nuts create a decadent breakfast treat that’s ready in minutes.


Ingredients

– 1 cup rolled oats

– 1 cup milk of your choice

– 2 tablespoons honey

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

– 1 tablespoon additional honey for drizzling


Instructions

1. – In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats and milk. Stir well and cover.

2. – Refrigerate the oat mixture overnight or for at least 4 hours.

3. – In the morning, remove the oats from the fridge and stir in the 2 tablespoons of honey and cinnamon until well combined.

4. – Top the oats with the chopped nuts and drizzle with the additional 1 tablespoon of honey.

5. – Serve chilled and enjoy your decadent Baklava Overnight Oats!

Notes

For extra flavor, you can also add a sprinkle of ground cardamom or a touch of vanilla extract to the oat mixture. Chopped pistachios or almonds also make a great substitute for the walnuts.
