Description

Indulge in the irresistible combination of soft, fluffy baked donut bars infused with sweet maple flavor. These Baked Maple Donut Bars come together in a flash and are perfect for sharing or enjoying as a special treat.

Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour

– 1 teaspoon baking powder

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 3/4 cup granulated sugar

– 2 large eggs

– 1/2 cup maple syrup

– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

1. – Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.

2. – In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

3. – In a separate bowl, combine the melted butter and sugar. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the maple syrup and vanilla.

4. – Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.

5. – Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

6. – Allow the bars to cool completely, then cut into squares and drizzle with additional maple syrup, if desired.

Notes

For a cakier texture, you can add 1/4 cup of milk to the batter. To make the bars extra indulgent, you can top them with a maple-flavored glaze or a dusting of powdered sugar.
