Description

Warm, gooey baked brie is topped with sweet, caramelized apples in this indulgent and easy-to-make appetizer. Perfect for parties, holidays, or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

– 1 round of brie cheese (8-10 oz)

– 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

– 1/4 cup brown sugar

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 2 apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced

Instructions

1. – Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. – Spread the softened butter evenly over the top and sides of the brie.

3. – In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the top of the brie.

4. – Arrange the sliced apples over the top of the brie, overlapping them slightly.

5. – Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the brie is melted and the apples are caramelized.

6. – Serve the baked brie warm, with crackers, bread, or fruit for dipping.

Notes

– For a sweeter version, you can drizzle the baked brie with caramel sauce or honey before serving.

– Try using different varieties of apples, such as Honeycrisp or Gala, for a unique flavor.

– This appetizer can be assembled and baked ahead of time, then reheated before serving.
