Description

Enjoy perfectly crispy and flavorful Air Fryer Firecracker Wings in just 20 minutes! These wings are coated in a delicious spicy sauce, making them the perfect appetizer or snack for game days, parties, or any occasion.

Ingredients

– 2 lbs chicken wings, drumettes and flats separated

– 2 tbsp olive oil

– 1 tsp garlic powder

– 1 tsp onion powder

– 1 tsp smoked paprika

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 1/4 tsp black pepper

– 1/2 cup hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)

– 2 tbsp honey

– 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

1. – Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.

2. – Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

3. – Working in batches, place the seasoned wings in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.

4. – In a small bowl, whisk together the hot sauce, honey, and melted butter.

5. – Transfer the cooked wings to a large bowl and pour the spicy sauce over the top. Toss to coat the wings evenly.

6. – Serve the Air Fryer Firecracker Wings immediately, garnished with chopped green onions or parsley if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

– For extra crispy wings, pat the wings very dry before seasoning.

– Adjust the amount of hot sauce to your desired spice level.

– Serve with blue cheese or ranch dressing for dipping.
