Ingredients
– 1 (15oz) can butter beans, drained and rinsed
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– 1 tsp garlic powder
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. – Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
2. – In a medium bowl, toss the drained and rinsed butter beans with the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
3. – Spread the seasoned beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
4. – Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway, until the beans are crispy and golden brown.
5. – Serve the air fryer butter beans warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For extra crispiness, you can toss the beans with a small amount of cornstarch before air frying. This helps create an even crispier exterior. The beans can also be roasted in the oven at 400°F for 20-25 minutes if you don’t have an air fryer.
